You Don’t Need To Love Working Out to Enjoy Going To The

Believe it or not, most of our clients don’t really enjoy working out. They do it because they know it makes them feel better and allows them to continue to do the things they love.

Today I was reminded of this concept when at the end of our session a client comes up to me and says “You know what, I actually look forward to coming here now. I get excited the night before”

This star of a client’s name is Sal.

If you live in the Stamford/Greenwich area it is very likely that you know Sal. He is the owner of a successful electrical company, a proud dad, grandpa, and a big jokester (he’s kind of a big deal).
Sal first joined Core Principles back in September, his goals were to lose a little weight, reduce some of his aches and pains, improve his golf swing, and just feel better overall so he can continue to enjoy his time with his family.
Sal started here on our 30-Day VIP Kick start and openly admitted that if he did not feel or see results in the 30 days he was not going to continue. I completely understand where he was coming from and respect the fact that he needs to feel like he is getting something out of this to continue.
Fast forward a few months and Sal is still at it.
Sal has been showing up consistently every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7 am ready to work.
If you saw Sal workout today you would never think that he just started a few months ago, when he first came in everything was tight, simply moving around was hard and a lot of work.
Just today Sal told me that he recently went to the driving range and hit a bucket of golf balls and he was hitting them better than he ever has, he was gaining about 10 yards on his iron shots.
Along with improving his golf game Sal worked hard on changing his nutrition, dropped a few pounds and his clothes are fitting better.
It is clear that Sal walks around with his head up high now.
Sal, we applaud you for not only your hard work over the past 4 months but also for how loud you can sing like Sinatra as your doing a squat!
If you feel the way Sal used too and are ready to make the commitment like him Core Principles is the only gym in Stamford for people 50 and better. If you would like more information or just to chat please send an email to
