The Real Reason All Diets Work

It seems like everywhere you turn you hear about some new diet that is supposed to be even better than the last. Each one seems to be a little different, the Keto folks tell you don’t eat carbs and get into Ketosis for weight loss, the Paleo folks say you should only eat how our early ancestors did, Intermittent fasting says if you fast for a certain amount of hours you will turn into a fat burning machine. How about the

Chipotle Diet one man tried?

It’s confusing to say the least, where do you start? You may have friends who all did a different diet but they all got results? How could that be? They all swear by whichever diet they did and have the science to back it up.

The crazy part is they all work for the same reason.

They force you to eat fewer calories than you were before, plain and simple!

All of these diets take a different route to get to the same destination. Certain people may have more success on one diet compared to another because whatever strategy they are using is easier for them to actually execute.

If you find that the only thing you eat after 8pm is a whole tub of Ben and Jerry’s while watching the latest episode of This Is Us, setting a rule that you stop eating at 8pm may help you eliminate that binge.

The thing to remember is that these strict rules are very hard to maintain and the moment you “break them” you might let everything go and take a few steps backwards.

I want you to understand that some people may argue for one diet vs. another in order to deal with a medical issue, or improve other health factors. Some of those claims will be true and the purpose of this blog post is to address the weight loss part only.
