Are You Ready For a Fresh Start?

Have you noticed quite a few more cars on the road? It seems like each day the city is getting busier and busier, traffic is getting worse, restaurants are getting more crowded, and life is starting to look more similar to pre-covid.

Last year when the pandemic started so many peoples’ lives were turned upside down, people started working from home, businesses were shut down, travel was impossible, and seeing family was tougher than ever. It was all so new but as time went on those things just became life.

As things are starting to open up more and more we are having to adjust once again after we got so used to life the past year.

If you feel like you haven’t done any of that now is the perfect time to get started!

Just this past week one of our rockstar members sent me over an article from the New York Times I had to share with you!

The article digs into the psychology of change and how humans are most successful when trying to make a change during certain periods of our lives the article calls “temporal landmarks”. A few examples of temporal landmarks would be the beginning of a new year, new month, or even new week, birthdays, begging of the school year, new job, etc.

Last March when the world shut down would be considered a temporal landmark, and it seems like we are in the middle of a temporal landmark now with things starting to change again.

If you are interested in learning more about the psychology and New York Times Fresh Start Challenge you can check out the article HERE

It is never the wrong time to make a change in your life and it is never going to be a perfect time, so why not make that change now?

What is going to be the one big thing you are going to change during this temporal landmark?

For me I am going to make it a goal to read more, I will start with 5 pages a day.

Cheers, to change!
